About Me:
Hello and Welcome! My name is Ruth Monarrez and I will be your child's 3rd grade teacher. I was raised right here in the Central Valley and I am beyond excited to be able to teach here in the Selma. I earned my Bacholers from Grand Canyon University in Elementary Education.
As a parent myself, I understand the importance of a child's education and how it can mold there future outlook of the world. I am a positive, friendly person, who loves music and fun activities.
My Teaching Philosophy
When it comes to teaching, I believe it is crucial to provide a safe, judgement-free, learning environment. Where students will be welcomed to come as they are. Where there option matters and where they will be able to express themselves in any that will help them with there own development. Everyone will feel included in all projects and assignments. Students will be encouraged to learn through doing and from making mistake. I will do whatever it takes to make sure that I help everyone of my students in anyway that I can, to reach there full potential. The sky is the limit.
